Grace and I decided to take advantage of the nice day and go for our very first walk. As you can see she was wide awake when we put her in the stroller... but was soon fast asleep. The walk was definitely a lot harder on the recovering mom than it was on the new baby. It's hard to believe she was due yesterday, but we are glad to have her with us...

Hi, I just found out that you all had you precious baby girl. I called Joan to see if she was Grandma yet, and she was very proud to say yes. I asked her to send me pictures, as my mom and sisters where happy for you all. She is absolutely adorable. Contrats to everyone.

Just heard you had your baby girl. Way to go sticking it out to find out she's a girl! I'm a little jealous at the girl part...JK my 2 boys are wonderful as you well know. welcome to the world of parenthood, a very special privilege to be cherished. Great to see the family extending even more in the next generation. She is adorable Joan is not just predjudiced about that... Enjoy every minute of those sleepless nites they are gone too soon but then the next one comes around;)
