Day 2 of having Baby Grace home and so far so good. She is just the perfect little baby. We know that there will be many trials yet to come, but everything has gone pretty smoothly. And, of course, there was a 3 a.m. nursing. Dad was semi-awake to help, if needed. And I am sure Grace was laughing to herself as both parents sleepingly tried to change her after a very messy diaper had leaked everywhere. We sure both had plenty of laughs.
Mom had a good day at home with her and Grandma has been a big help. I can't imagine how many loads of laundry she's done for us just today. She even had to do Dad's laundry because just seconds after he came home at lunch for a visit... Grace spit up all over his shirt, tie and pants. Nobody questioned at work why I was wearing completely different clothes.
The first doctor's visit is tomorrow, so we'll keep you updated on how things are progressing. Until then, enjoy a few pictures.
