Before and After

I am all of the place with the blog these days.  We have so much to talk about.  But, there really haven't been many pictures of the house lately.  So allow me to unveil our kitchen cabinets.

What you see here is a couple of home improvement projects all done between Grandpa's birthday and Christmas all by Chad and Grandpa... with a little Grandma thrown in too.  Not too much Mommy (just the way she likes it).  What you are looking at-- painting cabinets, a new (old) dishwasher; a new (old) sink, and a new faucet.  By new (old) that means it came from my cousin Erin who redid her kitchen and we took everything they didn't use.  And man, should you see our garage.  It's nicer than our kitchen, but that's another post.

That was before.  The dishwasher never worked.  The sink was awful.  And Chad and Grandpa also rebuilt the plumbing and installed a new garbage disposal, but you can't see that.

I forgot to mention one of the biggest upgrades-- new hardware.  Between getting rid of those ugly white things and the paint. It was worth the hard work.
