While in Virginia Mommy got a chance to visit with her good friend Katie Marie. Katie's mommy used to babysit me back in the day. My parents and Grace went down to Farmville for a night while we did wedding party stuff. Patti, Tim and Katie were nice enough to drive up for brunch Sunday after the wedding-- what a special treat!
Grace was super impressed with "Katie Marie" and also loved when they held hands to pray and the song they sang at the dinner table. Needless to say, we've been holding hands to pray ever since (and we throw in the occasional Johnny Appleseed)!
Poor Mommys heartbroke to see what a grown up Katie is becoming! We just showed Grace pictures of Daddy holding Katie when she was tiny-- how time flies (Katie will understand this when is 9!)
