My First Post

Well, I guess it's time for Mommy to enter the world of blogging. It seems that Chad and I have found a rhythm. We post while the other one is asleep. This happens a lot, with us on different schedules. For instance, I have been up since 6:30 this morning (a Saturday!). Chad is begging for more time to sleep. This definitely won't be as creative or exciting as Chad's posts, but bear with me... It's my first!

LeAnne and Cory are bringing the baby furniture down today... and we are going to rearrange the apartment. Moving our bedroom downstairs and bringing the guest bedroom upstairs. We may also do some shopping, but I'll have to nap before they get here, so we will see. It is LeAnne's birthday today... isn't that the sign of a true friend? We may also pick a paint color to match the Monkey Business room.

Everything is getting pretty real... we are in the third trimester and the boss has started to question the length of my maternity leave. :) That, I can't wait for!!!! The baby is very active, and stays up with me most nights at work. It's fun, the two of us. It kicks, I talk to it. We keep each other entertained. The baby does not like when I am sitting down... at the computer, at the anchor desk... I think we are running out of room in my little stomach.

I have included a picture with Aunt Karlee... but really this is from the beginning of November, and the belly really popped since then. We'll have to take a side view, but hey, I'm proud that my first post will have a picture.

Ok-- I better go get cleaning for our helpful guests coming today. I hope everyone is enjoying the holidays!
