After the Phillies won their first title in 28 years!!!! Grace decided she wanted to go to Philadelphia and see the Phillies. So, Uncle Mark (aka Crazy Uncle Jimmy) drove here, and we ventured into Philly for the big celebration.
We waited for 2 hours plus at the Malvern SEPTA station for an empty train! We finally got on one at 11:40-- the parade started at 12. We got to the city at 12:15 and it was crazy.
We did see some ticker tape, and we think the parade was close. Then we decided to head to the Linc and go to our seats. The subway was another matter. After almost an hour in tight quarters, we decided to come back up. The parade had passed, and it was still a zoo!
Then it was waiting for the train back to Malvern for another two hours, and a long trip home. So, we didn't see much, but we were THERE!!!
