Apparently Austin has quite the bat population. And all 750,000 come out at dusk. We took a little boat tour of the lakes around Austin and ended near the bridge to watch the bats. It was actually really amazing to see.
It's hard to tell, but that black line in the sky is not a bird, not a plane, but a sea of bats.
