Well, why not? The name is derived from our good friend one Mr. Michael Torchia. Most of you know Torchia... the easiest way to remember him? He was the one at the wedding shaking with the Communion wine.
Well one day... the three of us were playing PhotoHunt at the Spot. And of course, we got a top score... and Mike tried to enter Chad Smith... but there was only room for Chad Smi. So... from then on... we have been the Smi's. (Pronounced Smee). And we often now refer to the baby as Baby Smi.
So, join us on our adventures as we get ready to welcome Baby Smi into the world...
